Double Blessings San Diego Bebe Twin Pillow is a nice addition
to your list of must-haves for life with twins.
This pillow is also known as Deluxe Nursing Pillow for Twins and formerly known as EZ-2-Nurse Twin Pillow. It was renamed from EZ-2, when the company switched from using polyurethane foam to eco-friendly fiber.
Polyurethane foam is flammable and requires special chemical treatment to be safely used for making baby products and supplies. Double Blessings nursing pillows are made of synthetic fiber instead. Fiber is not flammable and no chemical treatment is required.

● twin nursing pillow
● pillow top
Pillow top surface is angled so that the edges are slightly elevated to securely position the babies tilted towards your breasts, or to keep one baby on the pillow, while you reach for the other one.
If you need more room for your post-pregnancy belly or need to take the weight of the pillow off of your post-c-section area, turn the pillow upside down, so that the angled side is at the bottom.
You can also turn the cover upside down too, and then be able to use the pocket and the privacy cover. If you use the pillow in this position, your babies will be placed on an even side of the pillow, and may need extra support to stay steady.
● square-shaped back support pillow
Dimensions: W10in/D10.5in/H4.5in or W25cm/D27cm/H11cm.
Back pillow is easily detachable. There is a small Velcro to attach the pillow to the main twin pillow for easier transportation. Unlike some pillows that have a back panel that the back support pillow attaches to, Double Blessings has no such panel and the back pillow is flexible and may be placed anywhere behind your back.
Some women report that this causes some inconvenience, because back pillow slides up and down or shifts from the position you place it in. My testing showed that it is not so much of an issue and really depends on what you are wearing and what surface you are leaning against. Generally plush cover sticks to most surfaces and helps keep the pillow steady.
With detached back support pillow main twin pillow can be later used to support a baby in a sitting position.
● cover
Double Blessings San Diego Bebe Twin Pillow covers come in a variety of cute
animal colors (zebra, giraffe, etc.) available for purchase separately and
perfect for moms of style. All covers are soft plush. Click here to check them out.
Covers for both main twin pillow and back support pillow can be easily taken off to be washed.
Both covers are fastened with a Velcro. Double Blessings San Diego Bebe Twin Pillow has no zippers, so there is no lead concern.
● privacy cover
It is a very neat feature. It provides comfort and convenience for discreet public nursing. Privacy cover has a strap that goes around mom's neck. It was a little too long for me, so I adjusted it.
If not used the cover may be either detached (it holds on a Velcro), or hidden in the pocket specifically designed for it.
The cover is not solid, it is made of light fabric with lots of tiny holes. These are necessary to allow for ventilation, but they also make the cover somewhat see-through.
If you feel uncomfortable about someone seeing even the silhouette of your body through the cover (see picture below), keep in mind that it is a twin nursing pillow, so it is large and heavy to carry around in a mall or when you are running errands. Therefore, you are not very likely to be using it in a middle of a heavily-trafficked public area, and transparency of the cover may not be so much of an issue.
● 3 pockets
There are two bottle-holders on one side of the pillow close to you and one actual pocket on the other side.
● buckle strap
According to the info on Double Blessings San Diego Bebe Twin Pillow package, the buckle strap that is fastened
around the waist is adjustable to the max of 52in. My measurements come closer to 60in, so it should fit well larger-size moms and babies.
The buckle strap is not attached to the very edges of the pillow, but about 5in away from them (see picture below). It is made that way to allow space for placing back support pillow behind your back. But if you are not using back support those 5in bump into the wall or other surface behind you, which pushes the pillow away from your belly. My recommendation – use the back pillow and adjust the buckle strap to snugly fit your waist.
Unlike some other twin pillows, Double Blessings San Diego Bebe Twin Pillow has the buckle strap, not the Velcro. It allows for secure fastening and noise-free opening, if the babies fall asleep at the breast and you need to move them to the crib.
Double Blessings San Diego Bebe Twin Pillow does a great job as a double nursing pillow. It comes with an extra add-on - privacy cover – and is filled with eco-friendly fiber. It fits twins well for simultaneous nursing in various positions (football, cradle, mixed) and lasts long. I've seen moms use it for breastfeeding 2-year-old twins.
